Tours to the Buryat Republic
1.    Tour to Ivolginsk Datsan

Ivolginsk Datsan is located 35 kilometers from Ulan-Ude, capital of the Buryat Republic. We will visit the monastery during the morning service and the library with a unique collection of Buddhist literature. For a long time Ivolginsk Datsan was the residence of the central Buddhist administration of Russia and of its head Bandido-Khambo-Lama. In Datsan you’ll see the sacred statue of Buddha, Dalai Lama’s throne of the 14th century, stupas, greenhouse with a sacred tree Botkhi. A real miracle for all Buddhists is an Imperishable body of Khambo-Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigelov, which is located in a special building of Ivolginsk Datsan.
